Driving Directions to Salisbury Ghost Walk: 130 West Innes
From I 85 take exit 76 towards Historic Salisbury downtown.
You will be on East Innes Street. Drive approximately one mile. You will go through
several stoplights. When you reach the intersection of Innes and Main Street (The
Square), you are one block from your destination. When you cross Main the street
becomes West Innes. The Ghost Walk meets on the steps of the Rowan County
Commissioner’s building, which is the last building in the block on the right hand side of
the street. The building, which used to be the Post Office and Federal Courthouse, is
a large white marble structure.
Confederate Monument
The Confederate Monument (an angel holding a soldier) in the middle of the street will
be a landmark. Bank One is across the street. The bank has a large well-lighted
parking lot that is available free for parking at night.
